Halifax’s Ambassatours has built a 32,000 square foot building that will be their new corporate headquarters and serve as their bus depot. The building owner wanted to highlight green building practices and turned to CarbonCure as a cost-effective method to reduce the project’s environmental footprint.
The original idea to use CarbonCure’s technology in the project’s ready mixed concrete was presented by contractor B.D. Stevens. Luke Elliot, General Manager at B.D. Stevens, has been involved from the beginning of the project and in their hunt for green technologies found CarbonCure was a great fit for the project. The project used CarbonCure’s technology in its poured slab and tilt up panels.
