This month we are pleased to introduce you to one of our newest customers, Superior Materials. Superior Materials along with our subsidiaries Builders’ Redi-Mix and Superior On Site, specialize in high-performance concrete with exceptional quality and service. With 250 employees, 180 trucks, 14 locations and 17 plants, the family of companies serve Central and Southeastern Michigan.
With a deep commitment to sustainability, Superior Materials provides numerous environmental alternatives for designers and contractors. They are the first ready mix producer to bring sustainable concrete solutions to Southeast Michigan, having installed CarbonCure’s technology in May 2021.
“We work closely with designers and contractors to reduce the carbon footprint of their projects,” said Jeff Krupcale, President of Superior Materials. “We pride ourselves on using the best strategies, from Portland-limestone cement, concrete additives, supplementary cementitious materials – and now CarbonCure. CarbonCure provides a great opportunity to reduce the carbon footprint of our concrete and meet the growing demand for sustainable solutions.”
Following an easy installation of Carbon Cure’s technology, Superior is now working closely with CarbonCure’s Technical Services and Support (TSS) team. They are currently reviewing historical data, and conducting commissioning trials, analysis and mix optimization.
